- What do you need to do to access the program/resource? Disability needs to meet the HUD defintion of a person with a disability, Youth esiting Foster Care- has to be at least 18 years old and not more than 24 years old who have left the foster care, or will leave within 90 days and is at risk of being homeless. Fill out application for wait listing, placement on the waiting list does not guarantee the applicants will qualify for assistance.

- Criteria: The Indiana Homeowner Assistance Fund (IHAF) program can provide assistance with the mortgage payments, property taxes, homeowners insurance and homeowner/condominium fees of eligible Hoosiers. Must meet the following criteria- Have an income equal to or less than 150% of the area median income or 100% of the median income for the United States, whichever is greater. Experienced a financial hardship after 1/21/2020 associated with the coronavirus pandemic. (A Qualified Financial Hardship is a reduction in income or increase in living expenses associated with the pandemic.) Expenses must be related to your primary residence located in Indiana.

MUST be VA eligible (does not mean they have to go to the VA) (must be honorable or under-honorable d/c; after 1980 must have served 2 years active duty or be service connected). Journey Home can transport to Winchester (VSO helps). Cannot have sex offenses. Can have MH or SUDS dx.
